Foundation Course
The
Foundation Course is essentially practical in nature, taught along with a
complementary solid theoretical foundation, with emphasis on demonstrations by
tutors and students practising skills under supervision.
The aim of the Foundation Course is to give students a body of knowledge
and skills that will enable them to establish a practice and work effectively
at this level of competence.
The course includes both basic techniques and an introduction to more
advanced interventions.
The Academy’s Foundation Course Certificate is awarded on successful
completion of the course and the student can the use the initials MACH.

Diploma Course
The
course is designed for those who have completed the Certificate half of the
course, who wish to progress to the full Diploma of the Academy.
It is also designed for those who have trained elsewhere in
Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy, Counselling or one of the caring professions, who
have attained the basic skills needed for this more advanced part of the
course.
On successful completion of the Diploma part of the course, student will
be awarded the Academy’s Diploma and can use the initials DACH.
Students will be encouraged to complete the Diploma Course in order to
continue to receive the ACH Licence to Practise.

Ongoing Workshops
The
Academy organises workshops run by internal and external tutors.
It is a requirement of continued licensing that members undertake 6
days of approved training per year. Other
recognised/approved organisations offering workshops can also count towards
the 6 days.
COURSE FEES
Students
will contract to undertake the Foundation Course payment either by deposit and
15 instalments spread evenly throughout the course or by deposit and balance
at the first weekend.
Students will re-contract on a similar basis for the Diploma Course.
Students should also be aware they will be charged examination and
supervision fees.
Help with fees is at the discretion of the trainer
